Wardrop, Daneen

Daneen Wardrop is the author of a book of poems, The Odds of Being (2008), and two books of literary criticism, including Emily Dickinson’s Gothic (1996), with a third forth­coming next fall from University Press of New England. She has received the 2006 Poetry Society of America Robert H. Winner Award, judged by Jean Valentine; the 2005 Bentley Prize for Poetry from Seattle Review; two Pushcart prize nominations; and the 2007 Gerald Cable Book Award. Her poetry has appeared in TriQuarterly, Gulf Coast, Southern Review, Prairie Schooner, Field, North American Review, and elsewhere.
