Morris, Aaron

Aaron Morris was born in Concord, MA, and currently resides in Allston. He is a graduate of Massachusetts College of Art with a BFA in Photography. He uses “selective destruction” of negatives, most often pictures of buildings and other large structures, to emphasize the impermanence of such seemingly indestructible monuments. They seek to convey two stages of disintegration: a visceral moment of destruction and an expanse of solitude where only portions of the whole remain. His work can be seen at Aamorris.com.
