Michael Hemery has essays appearing or forthcoming in Passages North, Lumina, The Tusculum Review, The Portland Review, Post Road Magazine, sub-TERRAIN Magazine, and a forthcoming book, Fearless Confessions: A Writer’s Guide to Memoir. He is the nonfiction editor for Hunger Mountain and earned his MFA from the Vermont College of Fine Arts. He currently resides in Cleveland, OH, with his wife Stacie Leatherman and son.
